Review of new regional measures for tax support of owners of commercial real estate

We continue to monitor the news concerning the adoption of benefits in Russian regions with respect to property taxes for owners of real estate who are landlords. For the period starting from 5 June, our list has grown by six more regions.

Please find below an overview table as at 22 June 2020.

General statistics as at 22 June 2020 are as follows:

47 regions have introduced no benefits

1 region (Moscow) has introduced grants

32 regions have introduced tax benefits (a fivefold increase as compared with 5 June)

4 regions have introduced tax benefits (an increase of 1 as compared with 5 June)

1 region (Ryazan Region) has extended the deadlines and introduced benefits.
