On 7 February the National Research University Higher School of Economics (NRU HSE) held the forum “Legal challenges of the healthcare industry in 2020”, which has become an annual event. The forum was organised jointly by Pepeliaev Group and NRU HSE’s department of biological law. The speakers and guests of the forum discussed the most topical legal issues for and development prospects of the pharmaceuticals industry and social healthcare.

The research was published in October 2019. Alexey Konevsky has been cooperating with The World Bank Group for more than five years, channelling to it data concerning the regulation of the construction industry in Russia for the purposes of the overview.

Valentina Orlova has received an official message of thanks from the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) WIPO’s Director General Francis Gurry has expressed his personal gratitude to Valentina Orlova, Head of the Intellectual Property and Trademarks Practice at Pepeliaev Group, for her participation in organising the intellectual property round table held on 21 October.
