Staff optimising and restructuring
Legal support was provided to several international FMCG producers throughout the process of terminating the employment of its staff owing to their business being restructured. We succeed in achieving the optimum acceptable outcome for terminating the employment contracts, avoiding reputational risk to the client.

An employee dismissal case
Represented a Russian branch of  of the largest home appliances manufacturer in Europe in 2  legal proceedings connected with a regional sales manager being dismissed by reason of redundancy. The lawyers managed to prove in the court of appeal that the employer was right, even though there were a number of defects in its documents.  After the first legal proceedings were completed, the employee filed a new claim; however, we also succeeded here in defending the employer's position. Our support helped the client to complete the redundancy procedure and to finally terminate the relationship with the employee in conflict
Advice on relationships with a trade union, disputes with employees
Advised a major brewery on the termination of employment relationships with leaders of the trade union for labour-based disciplinary offences. We prepared the legal strategy for dismissal and assisted during the dismissal procedures;  challenged in the courts of general jurisdiction instructions of state labour inspectorates and statements of the state prosecutor's office; and represented the client in disputes with employees as they sought to be reinstated to work and have the disciplinary sanctions cancelled.
Drafting a set of contracts and internal corporate regulations
Successfully implemented a project aimed at optimising the commercial activities of a leading international carrier in the context of a reorganisation of the client’s worldwide business activities and the restructuring of the business operations of the Russian division.
Drafting of a construction agreement
Drafted a construction agreement and its appendices for one of the world's largest car manufacturers. The work also included bringing the accepted international construction procedures applied by the company into line with Russian legislation
Support during an acqusition of production capacities
Provided legal support during an acquisition of a printing facility. The work included carrying out integrated legal due diligence; structuring the transaction; drafting and negotiating the terms of the sale and purchase agreement; obtaining clearance for the transaction from anti-trust authorities and closing the deal.
