Prepared a legal opinion regarding attracting a large Chinese investor, setting up a joint venture and using lands. The opinion also covered conditions for foreign investors in Russia, including new tax benefits. We have also, among other things, provided support during negotiations with state-owned oil and gas companies. 

Advised on a variety of matters arising with regard to the potential forming and restructuring of arrangements Pepeliaev Group’s lawyers advised one of the largest Russian oil companies on a variety of matters arising with regard to the potential forming and restructuring of arrangements relating to financing and facilitating the construction of an offshore oil-field plant. The project tasks included an analysis of the unfulfilled obligations relating to providing financing and collateral; developing and agreeing the position of the contractor and other banks; and drafting the restructuring agreements.

Represented a leader in sea container shipments before the Commission of the Division of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Represented the client, a leader in sea container shipments, before the Commission of the Division of the Federal Antimonopoly Service for St. Petersburg in a dispute over the refusal to enter into an agreement with a contracting party that filed a claim arguing that our client holds a dominant position on the market and was obliged to enter into contracts with all contracting parties.
